History:

The last two weeks will be spent on the WASL CBA for history. This project requires that students students research and respond to an investigation on conflict. The conflict for this project will focus on the Middle East. "A conflict can have many causes. To avoid and resolve conflicts, it helps to understand these causes. You will develop a position in which you explain the causes of a conflict".

The work will be done in class for the most part. The conflict will be defined and a list of resources will be offered for review. Students will then have to state a position, provide background, provide background causes, provide reason'(s) for the position chosen and make references.

We have started discussions on the Middle East earlier in the year. I have made references to it as we studied the evolution of civilization. These two weeks will bring all of that together. I will present additional information.
