Reading
Monday- Students will read the article “What a Character: Iwao Takamoto and His Toons”. They will read it silently to themselves.
Tuesday- We will read the above and take turns to read the story out loud. They will create a timeline for this story.
Wednesday- Students will complete the section “Apply Your Skills” for this story. They will also list and define all highlighted vocabulary words.
Thursday- We will watch a video short story.
Friday- Test (applies to third quarter)
Language
Monday- Students will complete a worksheet for finding direct objects in questions.
Tuesday- Students will complete a worksheet on indirect objects.
Wednesday- Students will complete a worksheet on finding compound indirect objects.
Thursday- Students complete a worksheet on distinguishing indirect objects from objects or from prepositions.
Friday- Test (applies to third quarter)
History
Monday- Students will listen to the story of Phaethon. They will apply the story to a modern day scenario.
Tuesday- Students will listen to the story of Haephaestus. They will summarize the story.
Wednesday- Students will listen to the story of Pandoras Box and apply it in a story they create with the same theme.
Thursday- Students will study their guides silently after listening to the story of Aphrodite.
Friday- Test (applies to third quarter)

Monday- 6.5 review
Tuesday- 6.6 review
Wednesday- Chapter six, lesson 7. Introduction to probability.
Thursday- Chapter six standardize practice on page 311
