Reading:
Monday- Read "Walter Dean Myers". Define the highlighted words. Define the words as they relate to the story. Describe the format of the story.
Tuesday- Create a summary for "Walter Dean Myers" Support it with a list of text based facts.
Wednesday- Read "The Game" by Myers. Write on the plot, conflicts, settings, climax and resolution in the story. Describe the point of view.
Thursday- Define selected words for the above story. Tell how they are significant to the story. Identify prefixes and suffixes for selected words.
Friday- Test of the stories above.
Language:
Monday- Write a short story on the life of a kid named Joe. Include at least 10 nouns, 10 pronouns, 10 adjectives, 10 verbs and 10 adverbs.

Wednesday- Preposition worksheet
Thursday- Complete compound preposition worksheet.
Friday- Test on Prepositions

Tuesday- Name twenty countries in Africa. Describe it's plateaus, mountains, valley and lakes.
Wednesday- List highlights of the Phoenician people.
Thursday- List the highlights of the Assyrians, Lydians and Persians.
Friday- Test on the above.
